Job summary

A technology solutions provider is seeking a Senior Oracle Cloud Administrator to manage Oracle databases on the OCI platform. The successful candidate will ensure database performance, availability, and security while mentoring junior staff. A Bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering and significant OCI experience are required. This position offers a hybrid work option and may require occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in systems development and Oracle database management.
• At least three (3) years of recent OCI work experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage Oracle databases on the OCI platform.
• Ensure performance, availability, and security of database systems.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior database administrators.

Oracle DB performance tuning in OCI

Develop automation scripts (Unix Shell, Ansible, Jenkins)
