Job summary

ITC Federal is looking for a Senior Oracle Developer/DBA to support the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in Chantilly, VA. This hybrid position demands a strong background in Oracle database systems and design. The successful candidate will work closely with application development teams, ensuring that databases are optimized for high performance.

Responsibilities include advanced database design, data modeling, and performance tuning. The ideal applicant will have over 10 years of experience with modern Oracle versions and must hold an active Secret clearance. A generous benefits package is offered, including health and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant work experience as an Oracle Database Engineer, Developer, or DBA.
• Deep, hands-on experience with modern Oracle versions, specifically Oracle 23ai / 26ai.
• Proven experience with Oracle Pluggable Databases (PDBs).
• Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Internals and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Support Special Operations initiatives through advanced database design.
• Manage isolated data workloads using Oracle Pluggable Databases (PDBs).
• Assist in diagnosing and tuning complex analytical queries.
• Provide technical expertise and mentorship on SQL best practices.
