Job summary

Ariel Partners seeks an experienced Oracle DBA in New York to lead encryption and database security initiatives for our HRA-aligned projects. You will design and implement TDE and OKV, ensure high availability, and collaborate with IT teams to protect sensitive data.

The role requires 4+ years of Oracle, RMAN, Unix/Linux expertise, and hands-on experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager. You will drive HA/DR planning, backups, and performance tuning to support mission-critical applications.

Qualifications

A minimum of 4 years of experience with Oracle DBA.
Oracle TDE and ASO experience.
RMAN backup and recovery experience.
UNIX, AIX and LINUX knowledge.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement an Oracle encryption strategy for databases.
Architect Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and Oracle Key Vault (OKV).
Test and deploy TDE on production, pre-prod, and development databases.
Design encryption strategies for Production, Pre-production & Development databases.
Implement end-to-end functionalities of Oracle Key Vault.
Design and manage Oracle Enterprise Manager (Cloud Control) 13.4.
Plan and implement database backup, restore & recovery strategies (RMAN).
Tune the overall database systems for performance across multiple applications.
Install & configure HA & Disaster recovery enabled databases.
Develop high-level roadmaps and collaborate with stakeholders to meet business needs.
