Job summary

Cymertek Corporation in Aurora, CO is seeking an Oracle DBA to own the administration of Oracle databases, ensure reliability, security, and performance, and implement backup/recovery strategies. You will monitor health, enforce best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on database design and migrations.

The ideal candidate will have strong SQL/PLSQL expertise, experience with RMAN and OEM, and a focus on data integrity in a fast-paced federal contracting environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL with strong Oracle skills.
Experience with RMAN and OEM for database maintenance.
Ability to write and debug database scripts.
Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.

Responsibilities

Install and configure Oracle databases.
Manage database backup and recovery processes.
Monitor database performance and resolve bottlenecks.
Enforce database security measures.
Create and maintain database schemas and structures.
Support database migrations and upgrades.
