Job summary

Delta Dental of California is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and support enterprise‑scale Oracle Cloud Financials solutions. You will lead a cross‑functional team, deliver secure and scalable finance applications, and partner with stakeholders to drive finance transformation.

You will work in a hybrid model with 1–2 days onsite in Oakland, CA or Alpharetta, GA, contributing to procurement, AP, AR, GL, and related cloud integrations while ensuring operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional technical development experience with Oracle Cloud ERP or Oracle Cloud Financials.
• Experience delivering finance transformation strategies using Oracle Fusion and Oracle Cloud tech.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets.
• Ability to translate accounting requirements into scalable solutions.
• Experience with integrations, configurations, data flows, testing, and support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Oracle Cloud Financials modules (Procurement, AP, AR, GL).
• Lead cross‑functional finance systems projects from requirements to production.
• Develop integrations using OIC and VB Studio; ensure security and performance.
• Support month‑end close, financial reporting, and audits with accurate data.
• Mentor engineers and drive architectural initiatives across teams.
• Apply AI tools to improve efficiency and automate manual processes.
