Job summary

Delta Dental Ins. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the People Technology team and build a scalable HCM Applications Suite.

You’ll contribute to design, development, testing and deployment of Oracle-based integrations and extensions, while mentoring teammates and ensuring production health. Qualifications include 4+ years’ experience and a CS degree; expertise in Oracle HCM modules, BI Publisher, and OIC/VB Studio with Redwood standards.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Experience designing and developing scalable and secure applications.
Techno-functional experience in one or more Oracle HCM modules (Core HR, Talent, Benefits).
Experience with BI Publisher, interfaces, security roles, and approvals.
Familiar with Oracle Integration Cloud, Visual Builder Studio, and Redwood standards.
Ability to translate business processes into automated IT solutions.
Strong communication and mentoring abilities; knowledge of Agile.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable, secure software with a focus on Oracle HCM integrations and extensions.
Collaborate with product, UX, architects, and DevOps to design and implement features.
Create technical design docs, data conversions, interfaces, and custom reporting.
Build integrations using OIC, VB Studio, and Redwood design standards.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and production support activities.
Guide and mentor junior engineers; drive performance, security and quality goals.
