Job summary

Golden State Water Company seeks a senior systems analyst to provide 24x7 support for the Oracle CC&B system and related components, on a hands-on onsite team. You will handle system analysis, design, configuration, and end-user support while coordinating with Oracle support and external cloud integrations.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of systems analysis experience, strong communication, and expertise in Oracle DB, SQL/PLSQL, Linux, and CC&B administration.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science (or related discipline) or equivalent work experience.
• Seven (7) or more years’ significant systems analysis experience required.
• Proficient in troubleshooting application, middleware and database issues.
• Must have experience in Business Application, Production Control disciplines, and Change Management.
• Outstanding written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Energetic and self-motivated team player with ability to work effectively and cooperatively with project and infrastructure teams.
• Specific required skills include: Oracle Database Administration, SQL, PL/SQL, and Linux knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Executes system analysis for small-to-medium sized projects independently and contributes to larger projects.
• Documents requirements, solution design, diagrams business processes and system workflows.
• Performs application setups and configurations.
• Provides direct end-user support for applications and serves as primary contact with Oracle support services.
• Lends expertise with system and component upgrades and tests patches and upgrades.
• Participates in Disaster Recovery planning and testing.
• Provides after hours on-call support.
