Job summary

Golden State Water Company seeks a senior systems analyst to provide 24x7 support for Oracle CC&B and related components. You will work on-site with the IT team, handling analyses, configurations, and end-user support across Oracle tools and integrations.

The role requires a BS in CS and 7+ years of systems analysis experience, plus strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills. A hands-on, results-driven partner will drive upgrades and project success.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science (or related discipline) or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years’ significant systems analysis experience required.
• Proficient in troubleshooting application, middleware and database issues.
• Experience in Business Application, Production Control disciplines, and Change Management.
• Outstanding written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Energetic and self-motivated team player with ability to work with project and infrastructure teams.
• Specific required skills include: Oracle Database Administration; SQL, PL/SQL; Linux; Networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Executes system analysis for small-to-medium projects independently with team support.
• Documents requirements, solution design, and process/workflow diagrams.
• Performs application setups and configurations.
• Diagnoses production issues with rapid, accurate analysis.
• Provides end-user support for applications.
• Acts as primary contact with Oracle support services.
• Analyzes base code problems and tracks to closure with Oracle.
• Supports customizations: configuration, interfaces, modifications, and reports.
• Lends expertise to system upgrades and patches testing.
• Designs and deploys best practices and knowledge transfer to team.
