Job summary

OP Consulting Group LLC in Harrisburg, PA seeks a senior Oracle developer to modernize legacy Forms into Oracle APEX and to design UI/UX for enterprise apps. You will implement PL/SQL, security models, and web services, while optimizing performance and ensuring governance.

Strong experience with Oracle 19c, SQL Developer or TOAD, and Agile/Scrum is required. Mentor junior developers and contribute across SDLC phases.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
5–7 years of professional Oracle PL/SQL development.
5–7 years of Oracle APEX development.
Strong Oracle RDBMS knowledge (Oracle 19c).
Experience with SQL Developer and TOAD.
Experience integrating web services and tuning SQL.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Legacy modernization: document architecture, data, and integrations for migration to Oracle APEX.
Design and develop modern UI/UX for enterprise apps with APEX.
Develop and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and queries.
Implement security, roles, and authorization; integrate web services.
Performance profiling and tuning across Oracle and SQL Server environments.
Generate technical and executive documentation; provide weekly status updates.
Participate in all SDLC phases and support release activities.
Mentor internal staff and junior developers.
