Job summary

SCA Health is seeking an experienced OR nurse supervisor to coordinate daily OR operations and supervise clinical teams in New Jersey. You will ensure inventory, compliance, and smooth workflows for patient care across the facility.

Responsibilities include team leadership, training, and collaboration with nursing leadership to uphold standards and service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and current BLS certification.
• Minimum 5 years as an OR nurse with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of day-to-day OR operations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily operations of the OR and supervise the OR Technical Teams and Purchasing Coordinator for quality patient care.
• Ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available for scheduled cases.
• Provide efficient problem-solving across the OR during the day.
• Meet with sales reps with the Purchasing Coordinator to discuss pricing.
• Oversee clinical log updates and regulatory records.
• Assist Administrator and Director of Nursing with regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate training and orientation for new teammates.
• Lead continuing education programs for current staff.
• Participate in team meetings and training events.
