Job summary

SCA Health in New Jersey is seeking an experienced perioperative nurse to join our OR team. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and other staff to develop individualized perioperative care plans and ensure patient-centered outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, holds an active RN license, and is prepared to obtain BLS/ACLS (and PALS if pediatric care is included) within required timelines.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
New Jersey RN licensure in good standing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or current certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days or current certification.
PALS certification if pediatric care is within scope within 90 days.
Perioperative nursing certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
Assess patient status throughout perioperative care.
Develop individualized perioperative patient plans.
Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary perioperative team.
