Job summary

DEFTEC Corporation seeks a Senior Contractor Support to Operational Analysis to enhance NATO capability development through rigorous OR analyses, cost and risk assessments, and decision briefs. The role involves interactions with NATO and national entities, frequent stakeholder engagement, and travel up to 60 days annually.

The candidate will develop quantitative and qualitative assessments of operational effectiveness, support RFI development, and contribute to program plans and evidence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or 5+ years of OR/Operational Analysis in military or international settings.
• Active NATO Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience leading analytical studies and supporting policy development for defense capability decisions.
• Ability to design and facilitate stakeholder engagements across levels of seniority.
• Experience producing cost, risk, and schedule estimates with robust supporting evidence.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Course of Action analysis using OR/Analytical methods.
• Plan and conduct research to assess operational effectiveness and cost-effectiveness.
• Interact with NATO/National entities and industry to evaluate alternatives.
• Prepare cost estimates and risk analyses to inform decision-making.
• Produce decision briefs and written reports for NATO staff and stakeholders.
• Travel up to 60 days per year for meetings and conferences.
