Job summary

DEFTEC Corporation is seeking a skilled security professional to advise and coordinate security operations for NATO-related missions and events. The role requires risk analysis, site surveys, OSINT gathering, and delivering briefings tailored to senior leadership and mission planners.

You will work with foreign and local authorities, FP staff, and event organizers to ensure policy compliance, risk mitigation, and smooth on-site security during Delegate Assistance Centers and registration desks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in security administration, risk management, criminology, public administration, or industrial security administration.
• 3+ years' experience planning, managing, and executing security measures for major events involving VIPs or multinational operations.
• Certification in Risk Management (e.g., PMP, CRMP) or equivalent, with additional counterterrorism/crisis management credentials considered an asset.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret security data from OSINT and other sources; capable of producing briefs, risk assessments, and incident reports.
• Experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, external agencies, and local law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze reports from travel databases to identify high-risk destinations and critical locations.
• Collect and analyze security information from OSINT, classified and local advisories to assess risks.
• Provide comprehensive security briefings tailored to missions and events.
• Develop security plans for high-risk events ensuring compliance with NATO policies.
• Perform risk assessments and site security surveys with actionable mitigation recommendations.
• Lead on-site security management at events and assist Delegation Assistance Centers.
• Prepare after-action reports and lessons learned for future planning.
• Coordinate with local authorities, law enforcement, and intelligence agencies for security measures.
