Job summary

RTX’s Pratt & Whitney ISMA team in Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Modeling and Simulation Engineer for an onsite role in Woburn or Te wksbury, MA. The team focuses on CONOPS analysis, modeling and simulation across sensors, C2, and warfare systems to support next-gen concepts.

You will develop model-based solutions, analyze performance, and contribute to end-to-end system architectures for countering peer threats, requiring U.S. security clearance and citizenship.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, and/or C/C++.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government secret security clearance is required prior to start.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement model-based solutions that meet defined requirements and functions that will support mission trade studies and performance simulations.
• Contribute knowledge of performance engineering practices and procedures to evaluate work across a wide range of intriguing computational problems.
• Contribute and collaborate in a team environment receiving input from the program or team experts.
• The projects will vary in mission areas where your knowledge across the breadth of architectures will contribute to the development of the most effective approaches and solutions.
• Evaluate end-to-end system requirements to understand system interfaces and data connectivity across military kill-chains.
• Analyze data to understand performance requirements.
• Develop analytical metrics to validate proposed architectures against requirements as well as help shape future tech growth.
• Develop or implement algorithms to provide next-generation performance across entire system of systems
