Job summary

Sam's West, Inc. is seeking a licensed Doctor of Optometry to provide evidence-based vision care in our Appleton, WI Vision Center. You will diagnose, prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses, and coordinate care with ophthalmologists and other health professionals.

In addition to clinical duties, you will educate patients and store associates on eye health, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure compliance with state and Walmart guidelines. Competitive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Optometry (OD) from accredited optometry school.
• Licensed optometrist in good standing in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidencebased vision care and prescribe medications and treatments.
• Educate patients and store associates on eye health and safety.
• Consult with ophthalmologists and other health professionals for care plans.
• Maintain patient records and coordinate referrals as needed.
