• Identify and troubleshoot a wide range of mechanical problems with limited supervision.
• Develop detailed component and assembly drawings with tight tolerances.
• Perform mechanical analyses to ensure performance under operational and environmental conditions.
• Design sub‑assemblies for sub‑micron alignment and long‑term stability.
• Coordinate manufacturability and supplier involvement for production.
• Lead integration and alignment activities for prototype and production optical systems.
