Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering + 8 years of experience
• M.S. in Mechanical Engineering + 6 years of experience
• Proficient in the design of Optical-Mechanical systems
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (NX, SolidWorks, Creo)
• Experience with GD&T ANSI Y14.5M
• Experience leading and mentoring a team of junior mechanical engineers
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead as functional lead and integration engineer
• Develop opto-mechanical equipment for camera and laser applications
• Collaborate with Chief Engineer and Program Management to drive hardware design
• Derive system requirements into mechanical designs
• Drive continuous process improvements on fielded equipment
• Provide engineering design and analysis guidance
