Bentley Systems is seeking a Senior Optimizely Developer to lead the technical backbone of digital growth and web experiences. You will develop within Optimizely CMS and Optimizely Web Experimentation, collaborating with marketing, CRO, and product teams to drive scalable architectures and advanced tests.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted coding, fast iteration, and robust integration with enterprise tech stacks in a hybrid work environment across Denver or Boston regions.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of full-stack web development with at least 3+ years in the Optimizely ecosystem.
• CMS Backend: Deep expertise in C#, .NET Core / MVC, and Optimizely CMS (Episerver).
• AI & Speed: Proven ability to use AI development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, and testing workflows.
• Optimizely Intricacies: Knowledge of Project JS, visual tags, audience targeting logic, anti-flicker snippets, caching behaviors.
• B2B Web Experience: Experience building for complex enterprise B2B sites, including lead funnels and gated content.
• Version Control & CI/CD: Strong Git experience and pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Certifications (Bonus): Active Optimizely Developer certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Optimizely CMS Development: Build and maintain blocks, templates, and content models; ensure scalable, secure architecture.
• Experimentation & Personalization: Implement complex A/B, multivariate tests; deploy personalization campaigns; leverage AI tools.
• Quality Assurance: Define coding standards and governance for Optimizely environments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with CRO, Product, and UX/UI teams to prototype solutions; ensure technical feasibility.
