Horizontal Talent is seeking a Senior Optimizely Developer to build scalable CMS solutions and launch sophisticated experiments. You will work with marketing teams to implement personalized experiences and integrations with Salesforce, Marketo, and Adobe Commerce.

The role emphasizes performance tuning, Core Web Vitals optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with CRO, product, and design teams. AI-assisted tools will speed up development workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack web development experience.
• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience within the Optimizely ecosystem.
• Strong backend development with C# and .NET Core/MVC in Optimizely CMS.
• Advanced frontend with HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and JavaScript (Vanilla, ES6+, React, Vue).
• Deep understanding of Optimizely concepts such as Project JS, audience targeting, anti-flicker, caching.
• Experience building for complex B2B sites with gated content workflows.
• Git knowledge and familiarity with CI/CD workflows (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reusable Optimizely CMS components, templates, and content models.
• Design scalable CMS architecture emphasizing performance and Core Web Vitals.
• Develop integrations between Optimizely CMS and Salesforce, Marketo, Adobe Commerce, etc.
• Create and deploy advanced A/B, split, and multivariate tests in Optimizely Web.
• Implement personalized experiences for targeted B2B audiences and ABM campaigns.
• Collaborate with CRO, product, and design teams to translate designs into experiences.
• Partner on server-side testing and feature flagging when frontend testing isn’t ideal.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, and experimentation.
