Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree minimum.
• 6+ years' experience using and maintaining optical, opto-mechanical and/or laser systems.
• U.S. Person required (citizen, permanent resident, green card, asylum/refugee status).
• U.S. government security constraints restrict applicants who are PR China or Russian nationals unless citizen.

Responsibilities

• Complete technical projects supporting the development of commercial and research subsystems for quantum computing.
• Gather project requirements, define engineering tasks, and ensure their completion in collaboration with the technical team.
• Interact with internal and external customers to ensure project completion to customer specifications.
• Mentor team members on technical and scientific topics.
• Integrate complex, high precision optical sub-assemblies into higher level systems and maintain them.
