Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store, guiding patients through the Visionworks journey with expertise in optics and service. The role requires prior optical experience and licensing as applicable by state laws.

You will drive daily sales, engage with customers, and recommend eyewear solutions while ensuring the Right the First Time fit. The position emphasizes leadership in LEAD roles and ongoing product knowledge development.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required (Visionworks or other) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent related job experience.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily sales goals by ensuring the best Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services meeting eye care needs.
• Measure patients for eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through continuous training.
• Assist with opening/closing the store in LEAD positions to support store goals.
