Job summary

CACI is seeking a Sr. Optical Fabrication Engineer in Danbury, CT, to lead optical fabrication and thin film coating efforts. You will collaborate with manufacturing engineers, develop tooling, and support on-floor operations to move products from concept to final assembly.

Qualifications

• Degreed Engineer with 5+ years of full-time experience.
• Experience with CNC, grinding, and polishing processes.
• Proficient in 3D CAD modeling and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Drive a product line from start to finish through fabrication and assembly.
• Support existing product lines and new product introductions.
• Work hands-on with floor operations in optical fabrication and assembly.
• Support CAD modeling and drawings.
• Support technical writing for work instructions and process documentation.
• Present ideas to engineers and IPT members.
• Coordinate scheduling and product throughput with operations management.
