CACI is seeking a CNC Team Lead to manage scheduling, quality, and cost while hands-on machining precision optics on CNC equipment within the Optical Manufacturing team. The role focuses on leading and coaching the CNC crew, coordinating production priorities, and upholding process documentation and technical requirements to meet objectives.

This is a full-time on-site position in the Danbury area, requiring TS/SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 5+ years relevant manufacturing experience.
• Proven experience leading, motivating, coaching, and training others.
• Strong math aptitude.
• Familiarity with hand tools, manual measurement tools, computer-controlled test equipment, Windows Explorer, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to speak up and escalate issues as required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Responsabilités

• Machining precision optics on CNC equipment per docs and specs.
• Develop, train, and coach employees to be responsible and accountable for their performance.
• Prioritize production schedules based on product induction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
• Ensure program check and verification methods for the work center.
• Interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot machine anomalies and escalate as needed.
