Qualifications

• Experienced in writing work orders and procedures for product fabrication and assembly.
• Comfortable preparing and presenting ideas to Product/Program or Functional Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical input on various projects or serve as the lead Manufacturing Engineer on the IPT, including tooling/fixture design, manufacturing work instruction development, and shop floor support.
• Provide cost and schedule ROMs from derived requirements from the IPT for new work proposals with our business development team.
• Develop and maintain internal cross-functional relationships; communicate program schedule and resource allocation discussions.
• Supervise a medium-sized team of Optical Fabrication Engineers; report to Manufacturing Engineering Department Manager; ~80% technical, ~20% supervisory.
• HR, payroll, timekeeping, and other workplace tasks; weekly reports and staff meetings; grow and develop the team.
