Qualifications

• Experience with optical design software and performance modeling.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate optical designs for systems and subsystems.
• Build models to predict performance against requirements.
• Analyze tolerances, STOP, and thermal-structural effects with teams.
• Derive optical requirements and maintain error budgets.
• Develop component specs and support procurement.
• Support alignment, test planning, and correlate results with models.
• Troubleshoot performance anomalies and propose design changes.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure producible designs.
• Communicate findings in reviews and reports.
• Contribute analyses to trade studies and proposals.
