Candidates must have a BS/MS/PhD in Optics or Physics and 6+ years of lens design experience. Knowledge of metrology and prior experience with space-based systems are preferred. Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in lens design is required.
• Familiarity with space-based systems and components is desired.
• US Citizenship or green card is required.

Responsibilities

• Determine specifications for customer-initiated projects.
• Work with engineering staff to specify tooling and testing requirements.

Skills

Lens design using Zemax

Knowledge of metrology (interferometry, MTF testing)

Ability to analyze designs and materials
