Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year degree in business and/or engineering.
• Experience preferred but open to new graduates for technical manufacturing in aerospace, electronics, or related fields.
• Knowledge of machine shop equipment and processes cited: CNC Mills/Lathe/Router, waterjet, brakes, shears, heat treat, painting, assembly.
• Must read/write, perform financial analysis, and understand income statements and balance sheets.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret drawings and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as the thinking manager overseeing operations, business development, and coordination across departments.
• Pursue continuous improvement in bids, job costs, production methods, and costs to improve contracts and win business.
• Expand existing and new customer markets through Cygnus' established values of quality, delivery, and ethics.
