In this full-time day shift role, you will obtain quotes, assess supplier profiles, write and verify purchase orders, monitor orders, and resolve discrepancies to keep production on schedule. Cygnus, Inc.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a purchasing agent or relevant role.
• Demonstrable experience in negotiating prices and terms and conditions.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quotes for requested materials, supplies and services.
• Assess supplier profiles and analyze offers.
• Develop, Write, and Verify Purchase Orders for requested materials, supplies, and services.
• Monitor and perform follow-up on all outstanding Purchase Orders.
• Resolve Purchase Orders differences: price differences with quotes and billed amounts; resolve all quantity differences.
• Handle purchased returns.
• Prepare and implement effective negotiation tactics.
• Monitor stock levels and critical shortage report.
