Job summary

Risk Analytics Company is seeking an experienced Operations Engineer to join our engineering and infrastructure team. You will ensure reliable execution of operational workflows supporting our financial data platforms and services.

The role requires deep Linux scripting, strong documentation practices, and a disciplined approach to automation. You will work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and improve workflow reliability across our data platforms.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or related infrastructure roles.
Strong proficiency with Linux operating systems.
General working proficiency with Windows systems.
Scripting experience with Python, Bash and Make.
Experience with relational databases and SQL.
Experience with source control and version management, including CVS and Git.
Familiarity with Windows scripting environments (Python, cmd, or PowerShell).
Attention to technical documentation and operational record-keeping.

Responsibilities

Monitor and oversee the execution of scheduled operational workflows.
Troubleshoot workflow issues and escalate exceptions to Engineering when required.
Maintain and expand the workflow knowledge base with clear technical documentation.
Identify opportunities for automation and contribute to improving workflow efficiency and reliability.
Ensure accurate operational records and documentation are maintained.
