Job summary

AlphaPoint seeks a visionary TechOps Engineer to bridge high-scale software and financial infrastructure. You will ensure uptime and reliability for critical customer systems while shaping automation and security policies.

Responsibilities include documenting designs, monitoring Linux environments, and collaborating with Dev, IT Security, and SysAdmin teams to scale operations and protect data assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS or related field is required.
• Expert admin for Debian-based distributions.
• Strong knowledge of networks, hardware, IT security, and tooling.
• Experience with cloud, bare metal, and VPS hosting environments.
• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL preferred).
• Strong Linux, Proxmox and pfSense experience; highly organized and self-starting.
• Programming/scripting: Python, Bash, Ansible.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain system uptime and integrity of customer systems.
• Document designs and create training materials.
• Monitor servers and software on Linux environments.
• Manage deployments/upgrades and automation
• Collaborate with Dev, IT Security and SysAdmin teams.
