Job summary

Job description

  • Receive, distribute, assemble, and store incoming materials, products, supplies, and equipment
  • Pull and prepare orders for shipment
  • Deliver materials to assigned locations, warehouse facilities, and company establishments
  • Drive a box truck from Bridgewater to Raynham and other locations as needed
  • Load and unload delivery trucks
  • Organise incoming products and verify them against shipping documentation
  • Assist with checking in delivered items
  • Uncrate and assemble materials and dispose of unneeded packing materials
  • Assign storage areas and record location information
  • Prepare crates and items for shipment
  • Instruct personnel on crate and packaging assembly
  • Inspect assembled packaging for defects or damages
  • Review orders, pull required items, and stage them for packing
  • Summarise unavailable products and advise the supervisor
  • Move merchandise to storage areas and ensure proper labelling
  • Reallocate storage space as necessary
  • Lead inventory audits and submit audit data to the supervisor
  • Complete general housekeeping duties
  • Prepare and submit cleaning equipment and supply requests
  • Communicate business‑related issues or opportunities to management
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, federal, state, local, and company regulations and procedures
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 4-6 Years Work Experience
  • Ability to learn and adhere to specific procedures according to the department training plan
  • Valid driver's license
  • Six months or more of work experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • Powered industrial vehicle (PIV) training and certification
