Merck & Co., Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Technician, Operations to drive advanced technical leadership for manufacturing, maintenance, and process improvements.

You will optimize equipment setup and changeover, troubleshoot complex automation and electrical systems, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to sustain safe, reliable production. The role requires hands-on experience with PLCs, sensors, motors, and drives, plus strong documentation and training skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible technical manufacturing experience.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and optimization of industrial equipment.
• Experience diagnosing faults in automation, mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide advanced technical support for equipment setup, changes, and troubleshooting.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Develop preventive maintenance strategies and coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Planning, and Engineering.
• Improve equipment uptime, changeover performance, and quality.
