Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for a high-volume pharmacy automation facility. This hybrid role blends hands-on technical work with administrative leadership. You will diagnose issues on the floor, train technicians, track downtime, and drive continuous improvement across maintenance operations.

You will also create SOPs/STPs, manage parts inventory, and represent the maintenance team in weekly cross-site meetings. Prior leadership in maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of facilities engineering or industrial maintenance with leadership experience preferred.
• Experience creating SOPs, STPs, or similar technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical lead for the maintenance team and bridge technicians with site supervision.
• Own quick-fix issue resolution and triage, prioritizing tasks for resolution.
• Track downtime, analyze trends, and drive troubleshooting improvements across sites.
• Train, mentor, and develop technicians with hands-on coaching.
• Create and maintain SOPs and STPs for maintenance operations.
