DoorDash is seeking a Merchant Growth Specialist to drive adoption of autonomous delivery with merchant onboarding and ongoing success. You will partner with account managers, merchants, and product teams to shape the merchant experience and ensure thriving partnerships.

In this hybrid role, you will train merchants, manage onboarding, and conduct regular check-ins to capture insights for product improvements. Travel to merchant sites will be required to deliver on-site support and audits.

  • Pitch and onboard new merchants to drive autonomous delivery growth and adoption, through direct outreach and in coordination with account managers and sales teams
  • Own end-to-end merchant onboarding and training, ensuring a smooth launch experience
  • Conduct regular success check-ins and follow-ups with merchants to collect feedback and learnings that inform product development
  • Maintain and manage merchant enablement in internal databases, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
  • Support new pilot launches with enterprise partners, providing onsite assistance and closely tracking store performance to identify and resolve issues
What We're Looking For
  • 1-2+ years of function-specific experience in sales, account management, merchant success, or operations
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication skills with experience managing relationships across multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to travel to merchants to train staff and perform on-site audits to assess product performance and gather feedback
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a bias toward execution
Compensation
Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.

  • For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
  • For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month).
The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
