Job summary

ANSER is seeking a Senior Operations Research Analyst to support NAWCAD at Webster Outlying Field, SCMS Division. You will formulate mathematical models and optimization methods to inform management decisions, collect data, and develop decision-support software and methodologies.

The role emphasizes data sharing, net-centric practices, and collaboration, with a hybrid work schedule and a 50-mile commuting requirement. A DoD Secret clearance and a Master’s degree (or equivalent) are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in any discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 14+ years related experience.
• Experience applying mathematical modeling and optimization methods to support management decision-making.
• Experience collecting and evaluating data to support analytical and decision‑support activities.
• Experience developing or supporting decision‑support software, services, and/or products.
• Experience developing or applying methodologies, frameworks, and approaches to address objectives.
• Ability to apply analytical methods to support program evaluation and implementation.
• Ability to support information‑sharing objectives involving data sharing and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop information supporting management decision-making and policy formulation.
• Collect and evaluate data to support management decision-making and Division objectives.
• Develop decision-support software, services, and/or products.
• Develop and supply optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation.
• Develop methodologies and frameworks to address Division objectives and drive results.
• Apply analytical methods to support Division requirements and objectives.
• Reinforce data sharing objectives to support a net-centric information environment.
• Support the use of data and analytical information to inform management decisions.
• Develop and interpret analytical information using modeling and optimization methods.
• Support program evaluation and implementation through analytical techniques.
