Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Manager, Operations Project Management to ensure efficient execution of LMS Operations projects, aligning with strategic goals. You will lead PM professionals, manage plans from initiation to completion, and allocate resources effectively.

Responsibilities include cross-functional coordination, vendor oversight, risk management, and driving continuous improvement while communicating with stakeholders and ensuring budgets and timelines are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing Management, Engineering, or related field.
• MBA or MS is preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Aerospace/Defense experience preferred.
• Proficient with ERP/MES and data analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Operations Project Management professionals and/or supervisors.
• Develop and implement project plans with timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across procurement, manufacturing and quality control.
• Oversee vendor and supplier activities within budget constraints.
• Analyze operational processes and recommend improvements to reduce costs.
• Allocate resources to meet project schedules and priorities.
• Facilitate regular status reporting and project reviews.
