Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking an Operations Program Manager who will serve as the primary liaison between the program, program manager, and Operations functions including production planning, supply chain, and factories. The role oversees execution of Operations activities for one or more programs and provides a single point of contact for internal customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing Management, or Engineering related field is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 8-12 years of experience in Operations and/or Project Management.
• Proven track record of running multiple, successful projects.
• Collaborative problem-solving skill set and ability to interface with government and commercial customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Operations portion of the program throughout the program's life cycle.
• Work with Sustaining Engineering and the Program Manager to align requirements.
• Develop, implement, and manage controls and success criteria to provide a performance baseline.
• Identify, analyze, and report Operations Risks & Opportunities.
• Coordinate and align project teams and inter-dependencies.
• Establish factory priorities with Planning and Factory Managers.
• Inform stakeholders of program status hardware delivery status.
• Participate in Corrective Action.
• Lead program meetings and reviews with operations and management.
• Work with Supply Chain to ensure flow-down of requirements to suppliers.
• Understand and maintain product requirements.
• Manage potential changes in program scope and advise leadership and customer.
• Assist in preparing cost proposals. Ensure adherence to policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
