Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to oversee the execution of complex programs, manage cost, schedule, and scope, and mentor other PMs.

You will lead planning, risk management, and program reviews, while coordinating with PLMs, functional leads, and customers to ensure performance and profitability. The role requires extensive experience in program management, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects with a focus on delivering defined outcomes within

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 12–15 years of program management experience in complex programs.
• Experience leading multiple concurrent programs and risk mitigation plans.
• Experience with CRAD development programs under OTA or FAR15 desirable.
• Strong knowledge of PM methods, tools, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership in program planning, cost/schedule/scope estimating.
• Lead program reviews with the customer and executive staff.
• Develop and maintain program plans including budget, EAC, and resource allocation.
• Manage changes in program scope and advise leadership of impacts.
• Support Business Development in bidding and capturing opportunities.
• Prepare cost and technical proposals and ensure compliance with policies.
