Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Chandler, AZ seeks a Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead delivery across a multi-site Propulsion Systems portfolio. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant professional experience in a manufacturing, engineering, operations or program environment.
• 3+ years’ experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either a Program/Project Manager, IPT or CAM.
• 3+ years of direct people leadership experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Primary Manufacturing Operations interface with the Program Office, Business Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management and Mission Assurance on all aspects of manufacturing programs.
• Collaborate with multiple organizations to execute strategies that enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.
• Manage risk assessments and mitigation with a strong focus on compliance and ensuring performance standards are met across all supported business areas.
• Execute improvement/streamlining, development, and execution of operational initiatives, monitoring of operational goals and leadership objectives.
• Overall responsibility for managing proposals, production planning and execution of manufacturing programs, while monitoring and addressing all cost, schedule, performance, and quality issues.
• Provides oversight and accountability for all OPM related activities to ensure compliance with company objectives and obligations.
