Job summary

MAG Aerospace seeks a Senior Planner to support FEMA AOPO activities and lead large, complex operations research projects. You will develop comprehensive program management documentation and supporting operational procedures, with oversight of end results.

The role requires managing data, coordinating personnel, and producing non-technical management reports that compare solutions by desirability and likelihood of success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of emergency planning experience.
• Master's degree may substitute for two years of experience.
• Program management skills and program management development knowledge to complete documentation and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI.
• Familiarity with federal aviation program management, UAS, and procurement processes.
• ArcGIS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze moderately complex management problems and formulate mathematical models for computer-based solutions.
• Develop equations relating constants, variables, constraints, alternatives, and parameters.
• Gather and identify data for model variables using professional judgment and tests.
• Review model operations and testing to ensure adequacy and determine reformulation needs.
• Coordinate the work of assigned personnel.
• Prepare written, non-technical reports presenting solutions ranked by desirability and probability of success.
• Develop a comprehensive program management plan and required supporting procedures.
