Job summary

The Judge Group seeks a Senior Operations Planner in Andover, MA, fully onsite. The role partners with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to coordinate material flow, schedule production, and manage inventory and forecasting. Requires 10+ years in planning, APICS cert, and SAP S/4HANA experience.

Responsibilities include capacity planning, MRP conversions, and continuous improvement initiatives to support operational and financial goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 10+ years in master scheduling or production planning.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong written, verbal, and analytical communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations and inventory management.
• Ability to improve planning processes and Lean initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead capacity planning to align resources with demand.
• Develop and monitor demand forecasts for planning.
• Translate orders into MRP requirements.
• Create and maintain factory production plans.
• Develop, schedule, and optimize production plans.
• Manage finished goods inventory to meet service targets.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and logistics to resolve issues.
• Analyze data to improve forecast accuracy and decisions.
