Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a senior operations trainee to join a fast-paced leadership program. The role covers six months of expedited training with mentorship, followed by a year to prepare for a Plasma Center Manager position.

You will relocate after program completion and travel across the country to learn the business. The program emphasizes team leadership, donor service, operational support, and career growth opportunities within BioLife’s expanding network.

Qualifications

• Relocation required upon graduation/completion of Trainee Program.
• 3–5 years of experience leading medium to large teams (20+ direct reports).
• Up to 90–100% travel during the Trainee Program.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Willingness to travel and work at various BioLife locations across the country.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Have a valid driver’s license for the entire duration of the program.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., with occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Continuous Learning & Development: six-month expedited training; 12 months to obtain a Plasma Center Manager position with mentorship and hands-on experience.
• Team Management: cultivate a positive environment, provide employee feedback, conduct performance reviews, support staff development, and participate in staffing.
• Career Advancement: progress to Plasma Center Operations Manager by completing training, networking, and building cross-site relationships.
• Supportive Teamwork: operate in a fast-paced team setting, provide operational support, and communicate with senior management.
• Exceptional Customer Service: retain donors by delivering a positive donor experience and assist with production as needed.
• Travel Opportunities: learn from BioLife team members nationwide and return home every other weekend.
