Base pay range

$83,820.00/yr - $139,700.00/yr

Job Overview

The Senior Manager, Operations (SMO) will develop and implement processes to drive sales, fulfillment, manage expenses, and maximize EBIT, leveraging Central Operations, Regional Area, and in-store leadership, always prioritizing the customer.

Essential Functions
  • Deliver store operations metrics: Expense, Shortage, EBIT, Productivity, HUR, fulfillment compliance.
  • Develop and retain a diverse, representative team aligned with the brand.
  • Achieve NPS, EBIT, fulfillment fill rates, and on-time shipping standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Fed Ticket, Shoe Audit, HUR, and Loyalty programs to maximize sales.
  • Maintain markdown compliance, RTV, and job out completion rates.
  • Address facility and housekeeping issues with relevant teams.
  • Partner with Central to develop shortage reduction strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with audit and merchandise security standards.
  • Monitor expenses and analyze P&L to exceed financial plans.
  • Collaborate on sales and expense forecasting.
  • Maintain back-of-house areas for presentation and replenishment.
  • Work with visual merchandising and leadership teams on merchandising strategies.
Qualifications and Competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years of direct experience.
  • Excellent communication, creativity, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and interpreting documents.
  • Basic math skills and calculator proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently, analyze, and multi-task effectively.
Physical Demands
  • Regular walking, standing, sitting, hearing, and talking.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Visual requirements include close, color, and depth perception.
  • Manual dexterity for office equipment use.
  • May involve lifting under 10 pounds.
Other Skills
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as a team across departments.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Access is a plus.
