Job summary

Sterigenics U.S. LLC is seeking an Operations Manager to optimize equipment utilization and oversee scheduling of production runs with strict adherence to customer timelines and quality standards.

You will supervise a Process Supervisor, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate maintenance and data certification activities across the plant. The role requires leadership, English fluency, and willingness to work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years in a production environment with two years of supervisory experience.
• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must be willing to work established shifts.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Must be willing to carry a pager and be available 24/7 in case of emergency.
• Special Requirements: Experience with EO sterilization desirable; respirator use approved; tolerate high temp/humidity.
• Training: complete Process Supervisor training.

Responsibilities

• Schedules all product runs to meet customer turn-time and quality requirements.
• Maintains segregation of processed vs. non-processed product.
• Coordinates downtime for preventative maintenance with Maintenance Department.
• Reviews and approves final processing data for certification and compliance.
• Approves system configuration logs; reviews Gamma source movement and EO logs for accuracy.
• Verifies instrumentation calibration before use.
• Prepares month-end performance reports.
• Provides direction to Process Supervisor/Shift Supervisors and feedback on performance.
• Trains all operations employees and assists with special projects.
