Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated seeks a Senior Operations Manager to lead contract execution and operational performance for the F/A-18 variants program at NAS Patuxent River. You will act as the principal administrator and liaison to Government authorities, optimizing resources and driving excellence to support critical naval aviation platforms.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance (or ability to obtain), 10+ years in program management/defense operations,

Qualifications

DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain.
Master's degree from a accredited institution.
10+ years of progressive program management/defense operations experience.
Deep understanding of NAVAIR program office operations and FAR compliance.
Excellent briefing and communication for senior military and civilian stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead and administer the entire contracted effort to meet standards.
Primary liaison with Government program authorities on technical, program and PM issues.
Direct and monitor contractor performance, SOW requirements, and milestones.
Oversee resource allocation, staffing, budgeting, and asset deployment.
Identify risks, implement mitigation, and maintain schedule and technical integrity.
