Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day site operations, supervising warehousing, receiving, and shipping. You will plan inbound/outbound volumes, coordinate customer communications, and manage space and equipment to maximize efficiency.

The role requires 7 years in logistics, 5 years in supervision, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and WMS systems. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with a GED acceptable as a minimum credential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7 years’ experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• 5 years’ supervisory experience.
• Ability to work in warehouse temperatures year-round.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with WMS systems and business communication at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations under the General Manager.
• Supervise warehousing, receiving, and shipping of products.
• Plan inbound/outbound volumes, customer communications, space, and equipment management.
• Hire and train staff; plan labor; conduct performance appraisals.
• Develop systems for safe, profitable operations and cost savings.
