Job summary

US Farathane, an automotive plastics manufacturer, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met. This role provides strategic and hands-on leadership across production, maintenance, quality, and materials to support customer requirements and continuous improvement in compliance with IATF 16949 standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of progressive leadership experience in an automotive plastic injection molding environment.
Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, tooling materials (resins), and automation.
Experience working with IATF 16949 certified facilities.
Proven leadership of high-volume, multi-shift operations.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
Set production and quality standards and manage budgets and costs.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Materials, and HR to achieve plant objectives.
Support APQP, PPAP, control plans, PFMEA, and layered process audits.
Drive Lean, Kaizen, 6S, and OEE improvement projects.
