Job Title: Senior Operations Manager

Location: Manufacturing facility in Mankato, MN

We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. This role involves overseeing multiple shift operations, partnering with stakeholders, and fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and high performance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and manage operations seven days a week
• Enhance safety standards and develop associates to deliver market-leading products
• Provide leadership in employee relations through effective communication, coaching, and training
• Cultivate a culture of trust, accountability, and clear metrics
• Maintain high standards for safety, process, and plant housekeeping
• Optimize plant performance through strategic resource allocation
• Conduct performance reviews, staffing, and employee development
• Ensure resources support growth and operational efficiency
• Balance daily tactical execution with strategic development
• Own shipment quality, timeliness, lead-time, and revenue forecasting
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Support budget development and capital investments
• Assist with strategic initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience in metal fabrication and manufacturing
• Knowledge of 5S, LEAN manufacturing, and continuous improvement
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proven leadership in coaching, team building, and fostering inclusion
• Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management
