Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee manufacturing, project execution, installation, commissioning and service operations from its Austin facility. You will report to the Director of Operations and lead efforts to improve processes, drive efficiency, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree in engineering or operations and 7+ years of operations or project leadership experience in manufacturing or water/wastewater

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• 7+ years of operations or project leadership experience in manufacturing, engineered products, industrial equipment, or water/wastewater.
• Experience spanning manufacturing and field execution.
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma, project management, ERP/MRP systems, and operational KPIs.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing, production scheduling, and resource planning.
• Manage projects from production through installation, commissioning, and handover.
• Develop field service and preventive maintenance processes.
• Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets, schedules, and project performance.
• Lead and develop operations personnel.
• Maintain quality, safety, and compliance standards.
