Job summary

Metric Geo, a well-established, employee-owned environmental and infrastructure consulting firm, seeks a Principal Project Manager to support the growth of its municipal water and wastewater practice in San Antonio. This is a high-impact seller-doer and client leadership position, serving as a key client lead for a major San Antonio-area water utility.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Professional Engineer license required.
• 20+ years of water/wastewater engineering experience.
• 15+ years in project management.
• Strong municipal wastewater design experience in South Texas.
• Established relationships with San Antonio municipal water/wastewater clients.
• Proven success winning new work and developing proposals.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to recruit, mentor, and lead engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Capture approximately $2.5M+ in new wastewater design work annually.
• Manage approximately $2.5M+ in design/construction projects annually.
• Build and strengthen long-term client relationships.
• Deliver projects safely, ethically, and profitably while meeting scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Grow and develop the local engineering team through recruitment and mentorship.
• Maintain an active Texas P.E. license.
